The Summit Linear w/ Bedrock Contemporary is a factory-built, B-vent linear gas fireplace built around the Bedrock Contemporary burner. Available in 48", 60", and 72" models in both natural gas (VEN) and propane (VEP), it’s a complete, framed-in fireplace chassis with a clean, low-profile burner deck designed for ½-inch reflective glass or lava media instead of traditional logs. The look is wide, modern, and minimal, with a line of flame that reads across the full width of the opening.

Each Linear is a decorative 12" B-vent appliance, not a sealed direct-vent box, and uses a variable electronic ignition system with SIT Proflame II controls, flame-height modulation, and an included multi-function remote. Depending on size and fuel, Bedrock Contemporary models are rated from roughly 60,000 to 90,000 BTU/hr on high, giving substantial flame presence in larger rooms while remaining primarily an ambiance product rather than a primary heat source.

The Bedrock Contemporary configuration requires a continuous bed of ½" glass or lava over the burner deck and may be finished with approved decorative media such as cannon balls or driftwood accents above the glass (never glass under cannon balls). The SML chassis, Bedrock Contemporary burner, and media are all part of a single integrated system and must be installed in accordance with the Linear framing, clearance, and venting requirements outlined in the manual, using a 12" B-vent system and a fully qualified installer.
