The Bromic Platinum Electric Low-Clearance Ceiling Recess Kit for 3400W Heaters creates a clean, flush-mounted installation for compatible Platinum Smart-Heat Electric patio heaters. Designed for both new construction and retrofit projects, the kit fits within standard ceiling joists and allows installation in ceiling cavities with as little as 7.1 inches of vertical clearance. Its brushed 304-grade stainless-steel construction provides a durable architectural finish that complements compatible black or white Platinum heaters.

An integrated cooling fan helps regulate temperatures inside the recessed enclosure, reducing the cavity space needed for installation. The fan requires a dedicated electrical supply independent of the heater connection. The kit includes the ceiling recess box, terminal box, trim assembly, vent covers, IP cover, and required assembly hardware; the heater and controls are sold separately. The heater must remain protected from water entering from above, and installation must be completed by a licensed professional according to Bromic’s clearance, electrical, and structural requirements.
