Napoleon Astound FlexMount 50-inch Electric Fireplace

Create a highly customizable focal point with the Napoleon Astound FlexMount 50-Inch Electric Fireplace. Its versatile design can be wall mounted, partially recessed, or fully recessed and configured as a single-sided, two-sided, or three-sided fireplace to suit a wide range of room layouts.

The Astound uses spark-effect flame technology to add depth and movement for a more realistic fire presentation. Orange and yellow flames can be displayed individually or together, with independent brightness controls and five flame-speed settings for a customized appearance.

A Beach Fire log set and Woodland media kit are included, combining detailed logs with mixed glass, mineral rocks, and charcoal accents. Optional birch logs, clear glass beads, black crystal media, and a mineral rock kit provide additional ways to personalize the firebox.

The multicolor ember bed and overhead accent lights each offer 13 color settings, automatic color cycling, and adjustable brightness. The ember bed also includes a fade effect, allowing the fireplace to create anything from a subtle ambient glow to a bold contemporary display.

The Astound can be operated from the built-in touch panel, the included premium remote control, or the Wi-Fi-enabled Napoleon Home app. 

On a 120-volt connection, the heater provides up to 5,000 BTUs and 1,500 watts. When professionally hardwired for 240-volt operation, output increases to as much as 10,000 BTUs and 3,000 watts. ECO mode operates at half heat to reduce energy use, while BOOST mode delivers maximum heat with increased blower speed. The front vent directs warmth into the room, and the adjustable thermostat offers settings from 64°F to 82°F.

For wall-mounted installation, the fireplace plugs into a standard grounded 120-volt outlet. Partially or fully recessed installations must be hardwired for either 120-volt or 240-volt operation by a qualified electrician. A dedicated 15-amp grounded circuit is required, and extension cords or power strips must not be used.
