Create a premium built-in focal point with the Napoleon Astound Built-In 50-Inch Electric Fireplace. Designed exclusively for fully recessed installation, this fireplace combines an expansive viewing area, tinted glass, and realistic spark-effect flame technology to reproduce the movement and depth of a traditional fire without gas lines, chimneys, or venting.

The flame display features orange, yellow, and combined flame colors. Orange and yellow brightness can be adjusted independently through four levels, while five flame-speed settings make it possible to create anything from a soft, relaxing glow to a more active fire presentation. The tinted glass reduces reflections and helps keep the flame effect visible in brighter rooms.

A Beach Fire driftwood-style log set and Woodland media kit are included. Mixed glass, mineral rocks, and charcoal accents add texture and depth around the logs. The unique flip-down front glass provides convenient access for cleaning, rearranging the included media, or installing optional birch logs, mineral rocks, glass beads, or black crystal media.

The LED ember bed and overhead accent lights each provide 13 color settings with automatic color cycling. Ember-bed brightness includes four levels and a fade effect, while additional color customization is available through the Napoleon Home app.

Fireplace functions can be managed from the built-in control panel, the included premium remote control, or the Wi-Fi-enabled Napoleon Home app. Smart-home compatibility supports select Google Home and Alexa voice commands, while weekly scheduling, favorite settings, temperature control, and lighting adjustments provide convenient day-to-day operation. An optional wall-mounted controller is available separately.

On a 120-volt connection, the heater delivers up to 5,000 BTUs and 1,500 watts. A professionally installed 240-volt connection increases output to as much as 10,000 BTUs and 3,000 watts. ECO mode operates at half heat to reduce energy use, while BOOST mode provides maximum heat for 30 minutes with increased blower output. Additional comfort features include blower-only operation, thermostat settings from 64°F to 82°F, heater lockout, an open-window alert, and flame operation without heat.

The Astound Built-In includes both a frameless finishing flange and a one-piece adjustable trim, allowing the installation to have a minimalist appearance or broader coverage around the finished opening. The fireplace must be hardwired to a dedicated 15-amp grounded 120- or 240-volt circuit by a qualified electrician.
