Napoleon Astound Built-In 96-inch Electric Fireplace

Create an expansive built-in focal point with the Napoleon Astound Built-In 96-Inch Electric Fireplace. Designed exclusively for fully recessed installation, this extra-wide linear fireplace combines a large viewing area, tinted glass, and realistic spark-effect flame technology for the depth and movement of a traditional fire without gas lines, chimneys, or venting.

The flame display offers orange, yellow, and combined flame colors. Orange and yellow flame brightness can be adjusted independently through four levels, while five flame-speed settings allow the display to range from a subtle background glow to a livelier fire presentation. Tinted front glass reduces reflections and helps preserve flame visibility in brighter rooms.

A Beach Fire driftwood-style log set and Woodland media kit are included. Mixed glass, mineral rocks, charcoal accents, and detailed logs create a layered media bed with natural texture and reflective depth. The unique flip-down front glass provides convenient access for cleaning, rearranging the included media, or adding optional birch logs, mineral rocks, glass beads, or black crystal media.

The LED ember bed and overhead accent lights each provide 13 standard color settings with automatic color cycling. The ember bed includes four brightness levels and a fade effect, while the Napoleon Home app provides additional color and display customization.

Fireplace functions can be managed from the built-in control panel, the included premium remote control, or the Wi-Fi-enabled Napoleon Home app. Compatible Google Home and Alexa devices provide voice-control options, while seven-day scheduling, favorite settings, thermostat adjustments, heater lockout, and an open-window alert add everyday convenience. An optional wall-mounted controller is available separately.

On a 120-volt connection, the heater supplies up to 5,000 BTUs and 1,500 watts. When professionally hardwired for 240-volt operation, output increases to as much as 10,000 BTUs and 3,000 watts. ECO mode operates at half heat to reduce energy use, while BOOST mode provides maximum heat with increased blower speed for 30 minutes. The flames and lighting can also operate without heat for year-round enjoyment.

The Astound Built-In includes both a frameless finishing flange and a one-piece adjustable trim. This provides the choice of a minimalist finished appearance or additional coverage around the wall opening. The angled front glass also helps direct warm air into the room.

The fireplace must be fully recessed and hardwired to a dedicated 15-amp grounded 120- or 240-volt circuit by a qualified electrician.
