Napoleon Tall Bay Luxuria Multi-Sided 50-inch Direct Vent Natural Gas Fireplace

The Napoleon Tall Bay Luxuria 50-Inch Direct Vent Natural Gas Fireplace brings a wide, architectural flame presentation to contemporary spaces with a dramatic three-sided bay design. Its expansive front and side viewing areas create a panoramic fire display, while the tall firebox provides additional vertical presence. The fireplace can also accommodate corner and one-sided installation configurations when paired with the appropriate optional components.

A defining feature of the Tall Bay Luxuria is Napoleon's Luminous Logs system. A Luminous Log Burner Kit is required to complete the fireplace and is available in Birch, Driftwood, or Oak. Each log kit combines detailed logs with rocks, glowing embers, charcoal, shale, glass, and vermiculite. The system incorporates a modulating electric ember bed that adds depth and illumination beneath the logs for a more realistic glowing-fire appearance.

The natural gas model operates from 19,000 to 36,000 BTU per hour and uses electronic ignition. Heat-radiating inner ceramic glass and included MIRRO-FLAME porcelain reflective radiant panels enhance the visual depth of the firebox, while top accent lighting adds another layer of illumination to the fireplace display.

Operation is handled through Napoleon's ProFlame II control system and eFIRE Controller with remote control. The system provides convenient control of fireplace functions and supports Napoleon's Bluetooth-based eFIRE application. A battery backup control system helps maintain burner operation during a power outage, although lighting functions will not operate without electrical power.

Dynamic Heat Control is included and required with the Tall Bay Luxuria installation. This heat-management system moves heat away from the fireplace opening and enclosure, helping reduce temperatures above the fireplace and providing greater flexibility when selecting finishing materials or positioning items such as a television, sound bar, or artwork above the installation. 

The built-in fireplace uses a top 5-inch exhaust / 8-inch air intake direct vent system and supports approved horizontal or vertical vent configurations. A stainless steel flex connector, firestop/vent shield, easy-access air control, safety glass barrier, and other installation components are incorporated into the system. The fireplace is designed and certified for indoor use and is classified as a vented decorative gas appliance.

A Luminous Log Burner Kit is mandatory and must be selected separately. Compatible 50-inch kits include Luminous Birch BLKTLV50L, Luminous Driftwood DLKTLV50L, and Luminous Oak OLKTLV50L.
