The Napoleon Ascent Linear 36-inch Direct Vent Natural Gas Fireplace, Model BL36NTE-2, brings a clean, contemporary linear flame presentation to built-in fireplace installations. Designed specifically for natural gas, this direct vent fireplace combines a streamlined appearance with dependable electronic ignition, adjustable flame control, and a versatile selection of optional accessories for customizing the finished installation.

At the center of the firebox is Napoleon's included Topaz CRYSTALINE ember bed, creating a bright, modern media presentation beneath the flames. The BL36NTE-2 operates at a maximum input of 17,500 BTU/hr and can be turned down to 12,000 BTU/hr. A manual gas control allows the flame height to be adjusted between high and low settings, while compatible optional remote controls provide additional convenience for fireplace operation and flame adjustment.

A battery backup system is included with the BL36NTE-2, allowing the fireplace to continue operating during a power failure when properly configured according to the owner's manual. Additional standard features include Easy Access Air Control, a stainless steel flex connector, non-combustible material and cement board for installation, and an included safety barrier designed to reduce the risk of contact with the hot viewing glass.

The fireplace is designed for a built-in direct vent installation using a top 4-inch exhaust / 7-inch air intake vent system. The appliance measures approximately 35.9375 inches wide x 39.0625 inches high x 15.75 inches deep, with minimum framing dimensions of approximately 36.5 inches wide x 39.375 inches high x 16 inches deep.
