The Bromic Low Clearance Heat Deflector for Platinum Smart-Heat 300 Series Gas Patio Heaters is designed for installations where overhead space is limited. Its dual-layer stainless-steel construction absorbs heat that would otherwise escape vertically and redirects more warmth toward the occupied area, helping create more effective directional heating from a compatible Platinum 300 gas patio heater.

Once installed, the deflector reduces the required overhead clearance to combustible materials from 36 inches to only 14 inches. It attaches to the rear of the heater and is suitable for compatible wall- or ceiling-mounted configurations. The heater must still maintain the required 36-inch side clearance and 8-foot minimum mounting height. This accessory does not replace the requirement to install the heater in an approved outdoor location protected from rain. The heater is sold separately, and all installation requirements in the Bromic manual and applicable local codes must be followed.
