The Fire Magic A790i-7 40-Inch Aurora Portable Gas Grill combines premium grilling performance with the flexibility of a freestanding outdoor cooking station. Built from heavy-gauge 304 stainless steel, this three-burner grill provides a spacious 36-inch x 22-inch primary cooking surface with 792 square inches of grilling space, plus a 36-inch x 8-inch adjustable warming rack offering another 288 square inches. The hood-mounted analog thermometer reads temperatures up to 1,000°F for straightforward heat monitoring without digital controls.

Three cast stainless steel “E” burners deliver a combined 90,000 BTUs across Fire Magic’s patented Diamond Sear cooking grids, which increase contact with food for efficient heat transfer and defined sear marks. Heavy-gauge stainless steel Flavor Grids distribute heat evenly, help reduce flare-ups, and vaporize drippings to enhance flavor. Back-lit control knobs, angled 12-volt interior halogen lights, a spring-assisted 90-degree hood, and Push-to-Light hot surface ignition provide convenient operation. Unlike the A790i-8, the A790i-7 does not include a backburner or rotisserie kit, making it a strong choice for shoppers who want Aurora grilling performance without the added rotisserie equipment.

The A790i grill head pairs with the 790-SC24 portable cart base, which includes soft-close double drawers, a soft-close storage door, fold-down twin side shelves, and an LP tank holder. Natural gas and propane configurations are available, with gas connection hoses sold separately: use model 5110-03 for natural gas or 5110-15 for propane. The ignition, back-lit controls, and interior lights require a 120V AC plug-in electrical supply with a 12-volt transformer and a grounded outdoor GFCI receptacle.
