The Fire Magic 36-Inch Echelon Diamond E790i Digital Portable Grill, model family E790i-9, combines flagship grilling performance with the flexibility of a freestanding stainless steel cart. The portable configuration pairs the E790i grill head with the 790-SC24 portable cart base, creating a complete outdoor cooking station for patios and entertaining areas. Its heavy-gauge 304 stainless steel construction surrounds a spacious 36-inch x 22-inch primary cooking surface with 792 square inches of grilling space, while the 36-inch x 8-inch adjustable warming rack adds another 288 square inches for indirect cooking and keeping food warm.

Three cast stainless steel “E” burners deliver a combined 90,000 BTUs, supported by stainless steel Flavor Grids that promote even heat distribution, reduce flare-ups, and vaporize drippings for added flavor. Patented Diamond Sear cooking grids provide greater contact with food for efficient heat transfer and defined sear marks. The recessed 13,000 BTU backburner works with the included heavy-duty rotisserie system, while the black glass control panel features a digital touchscreen meat and grill thermometer with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity. Back-lit control knobs, angled interior halogen lights, and Push-to-Light hot surface ignition add convenience, while select configurations are available with an infrared sear burner or optional Magic View Window.

The 790-SC24 portable cart includes soft-close double drawers, a soft-close storage door, fold-down twin side shelves, and an LP tank holder. The grill is available for natural gas or propane, with the fuel connection hose ordered separately: use model 5110-15 for propane or 5110-03 for natural gas. Electrical features require a 120VAC, 15-amp minimum, grounded outdoor GFCI receptacle with a weatherproof in-use cover. The grill uses a standard grounded three-prong plug, so no 240-volt or specialty electrical plug is required; the outdoor GFCI outlet is not included.
