Grand Canyon Damper Clamp

The Grand Canyon Damper Clamp (part #00F0545) is a universal metal clamp supplied with many Grand Canyon Gas Logs burner systems to help ensure safe vented operation in a wood-burning fireplace. Labeled as a “Universal Damper Clamp” in the Bedrock II vent-free burner documentation and shown in multiple burner parts lists, this small but important accessory is designed to hold the fireplace damper partially open whenever the gas appliance is in use.

The clamp attaches directly to the damper blade and uses an integrated 3-inch adjustable bolt to lock the damper at the correct minimum opening, following the venting charts provided in the Grand Canyon installation manuals. This helps maintain a permanent flue opening for vented operation on approved systems such as Bedrock burners, Lava Burner Front View with GlowFire™ logs, and VFVUL vent-free burner systems, where a damper clamp is supplied. By preventing accidental full closure of the damper, the clamp supports proper draft and helps the fireplace vent combustion byproducts up the chimney, as required by installation instructions and local codes.
