The Majestic Lanai Single-Sided Outdoor Linear Gas Fireplace brings a wide, contemporary flame presentation to patios, covered porches, pool areas, outdoor kitchens, and other properly ventilated outdoor living spaces. Available in 48-inch and 60-inch sizes, the Lanai combines a low-profile linear opening, outdoor-rated stainless steel construction, illuminated crystal media, and convenient electronic ignition to create a modern architectural focal point.

The Lanai uses an open-front outdoor design that requires no chimney or vent pipe. Heat and combustion products discharge through the open fireplace front, allowing the appliance to be installed as a built-in feature or within an approved stand-alone structure. The opening and surrounding outdoor ventilation must remain unobstructed, and the appliance must only be installed in a location that meets the manufacturer's definition of an outdoor space.

Each Lanai includes multicolored LED ember-bed lighting beneath the crystal media. The lights add visual depth and may be operated independently from the burner, allowing the media bed to remain illuminated even when the flames are off. Brightness can be set to high, medium, low, or off, while the color control provides blue, violet, red, yellow, green, cyan, and white selections.

The LED system also includes normal color fade, slow color fade, and a pause setting that holds the lighting on a selected color. An included outdoor wall control operates the main burner, LED brightness, and LED color functions. The supplied control wiring permits the switch assembly to be installed within approximately 14 feet of the fireplace.

An IntelliFire intermittent-pilot ignition system automatically lights the burner when the wall control is switched on. There is no need to manually light the burner. The ignition system, LED controls, junction box, gas flex connector, and wall control are incorporated into the appliance for convenient everyday operation.

The standard fireplace includes clear crystal glass media and a glass deflection shield that serves as a wind guard. The wind guard helps protect the flame presentation in changing outdoor conditions but is not a fireplace door. Glass doors must never be installed, as enclosing the opening can cause the appliance and surrounding construction to overheat.

An optional model-specific framed screen barrier helps protect the firebox from leaves, sticks, and other outdoor debris. The fireplace may be operated with the approved screen installed. An optional Clean Face Trim Kit provides a four-piece finished surround with an integrated eyebrow and a stainless steel lip around the opening for a clean built-in appearance.

Both models are manufactured for natural gas operation.

The Lanai is approved for outdoor use only. A qualifying outdoor location may have walls on all sides with no overhead cover; an overhead cover with no more than two sidewalls; or an overhead cover with three sidewalls when at least 30% of the enclosure's horizontal perimeter remains permanently open.

Electrical requirements: The Lanai requires an unswitched 110-120 VAC, 60 Hz electrical supply with a total electrical load of less than 12 amperes. The circuit must be GFCI protected and properly grounded. Connecting the appliance junction box to a switched line-voltage circuit can override the IntelliFire safety lockout and is not permitted.

The junction box is located on the right side of the appliance and cannot be relocated to the left side. Low-voltage wall-control wiring and 110-120 VAC line-voltage wiring must not share the same electrical box. Electrical installation and service must comply with applicable local codes and the current National Electrical Code or Canadian Electrical Code.

Gas requirements: The fireplace uses a 1/2-inch gas connection with a manual shutoff valve and flexible connector. Natural gas requires an inlet pressure between 5 and 10.5 inches water column, with 7 inches recommended and a manifold pressure of 3.5 inches water column. Propane requires an inlet pressure between 11 and 13 inches water column, with 12 inches recommended and a manifold pressure of 10 inches water column.

Gas connection, fuel conversion, purging, pressure verification, and leak testing must be performed by a qualified installer or licensed gas professional. All fittings must be tested with an approved combustible-gas detector or non-corrosive leak-detection solution. Never use an open flame to test for gas leaks. The appliance must be isolated from gas-line pressure testing above 1/2 PSIG.

Important Safety Notice: Do not burn wood, charcoal, or any other solid fuel in the Lanai. Do not install glass doors. Fireplace surfaces, the wind guard, media, and surrounding materials become extremely hot during operation and remain hot while cooling. Keep children, clothing, furniture, flammable liquids, leaves, and other combustible materials away from the appliance.
