Majestic Quartz Direct Vent Gas Fireplace

The Majestic Quartz Direct Vent Gas Fireplace brings the appearance of a traditional wood fire together with the convenience and efficiency of a sealed direct vent system. Available in 32-inch, 36-inch and 42-inch sizes, the Quartz Series offers factory-configured natural gas and propane models to accommodate a variety of rooms and installation plans. 

Each Quartz fireplace includes an IntelliFire Touch ignition system, eight ceramic fiber logs, glowing embers, tempered viewing glass, a full firescreen decorative barrier front, hood and 12-foot control wire. Battery-backup capability allows the ignition system to operate during a power outage when properly equipped with four AA batteries. The fireplace is supplied as a complete system with no additional front or interior liner required for operation. The 32-inch and 36-inch models can also be transformed with an optional contemporary conversion kit, while optional brick panels, reflective black glass panels, fan kits, controls and heat-management accessories provide additional customization.

The certified input range varies by size and fuel. The 32-inch models produce 11,250 to 21,000 BTU per hour with natural gas or 10,000 to 18,500 BTU per hour with propane. The 36-inch models produce 13,000 to 24,000 BTU per hour with natural gas or 11,500 to 20,500 BTU per hour with propane. The 42-inch models produce 14,500 to 28,500 BTU per hour with natural gas or 13,500 to 26,000 BTU per hour with propane. These fireplaces are approved as supplemental room heaters or decorative appliances and are not intended to serve as the primary heat source for a home.

The Quartz provides convertible top or rear direct venting. The direct vent system draws combustion air from outdoors and expels exhaust outdoors, so a separate outside-air kit is not required.

An unswitched 110-120 VAC electrical supply wired with a minimum 14-2 AWG cable and ground is required for normal IntelliFire operation. The appliance controls operate on a 6-volt system, and four AA batteries may be used only as an emergency power source during an outage. Low-voltage control wiring and 110-120 VAC wiring must not share the same wall box. Gas and electrical work, venting, leak testing and appliance setup must be performed by qualified professionals.
