The Majestic Royalton Radiant Wood-Burning Fireplace delivers the traditional appearance and natural warmth of an open wood fire in a durable factory-built fireplace. Available in 36-inch and 42-inch sizes, the Royalton features a wide, single-sided firebox, a classic masonry-inspired interior, and a clean built-in appearance that works well with stone, brick, tile, or other approved non-combustible finishing materials.

As an indoor open-hearth fireplace, the Royalton provides an immersive wood-burning experience with the flames, glow, crackle, and aroma of a real fire visible through the unobstructed opening. Radiant heat naturally travels from the fire and surrounding refractory into the room without requiring a built-in fan or electrical connection. This model is intended primarily for ambiance and supplemental radiant warmth rather than use as a primary heating appliance.

A built-in ash lip helps contain loose embers and ash near the firebox opening, making the hearth area easier to maintain. The included traditional refractory lining provides a classic Natural Gray, brick-style interior while helping protect the firebox and contain heat. A front-access damper handle provides straightforward operation and locks the flue damper securely in its open or closed position.

The Royalton also includes a steel grate that keeps the wood positioned for proper air circulation, a safety firescreen to help control sparks, an attic insulation shield, and dual gas-line knockouts. The current fireplace package does not require a separately purchased decorative front or refractory lining to complete the appliance. A complete installation will still require the approved chimney sections, termination components, hearth extension, and other parts selected for the specific installation.

The fireplace is designed for solid wood fuel and performs best with dry, properly seasoned firewood. Unvented or vent-free gas logs are not approved for use in the Royalton. When an approved vented gas log set is installed, the damper must be locked fully open and the accessory must comply with its listing, instructions, and applicable fuel-gas codes.

Fireplace opening dimensions: The BE36 provides a 36 W × 21 H-inch opening, while the BE42 provides a 42 W × 21 H-inch opening. The BE36 measures approximately 41 W × 39-1/2 H × 21-3/8 D inches and weighs approximately 161 pounds. The BE42 measures approximately 47 W × 39-1/2 H × 21-3/8 D inches and weighs approximately 175 pounds.

Minimum rough-framing or cutout dimensions are listed as width × height × depth. The BE36 requires a minimum framed opening of 42 × 39-3/4 × 21-1/2 inches. The BE42 requires a minimum framed opening of 48 × 39-3/4 × 21-1/2 inches. These are minimum framing dimensions and do not include drywall or other sheathing installed inside the chase. Additional space may be necessary for the optional outside-air connection, chimney offsets, or site-specific construction.
