The Majestic Sovereign Radiant Wood Burning Fireplace combines the appearance of a traditional masonry fireplace with the installation flexibility of a factory-built wood-burning system. Available with a 36-inch or 42-inch fireplace opening, the Sovereign Radiant Series provides a wide, open view of real wood flames and transfers warmth directly from the firebox into the room. Unlike the heat-circulating Sovereign models, the SA36R and SA42R use a streamlined radiant configuration without circulating louvers or a blower.

Both models include a traditional full refractory lining, safety firescreen, steel grate, front-access damper handle, ash lip, dual gas knockouts and attic insulation shield. The refractory panels help contain and reflect heat while giving the firebox a classic brick-lined appearance. No separate decorative front or interior panel package is required to complete the fireplace, although a hearth extension, approved SL300 chimney components and an approved termination cap are still required for installation.

This fireplace is intended primarily for solid wood fuel. Only dry, seasoned firewood should be burned, and the flue damper must remain fully open whenever the fireplace is operating. The safety firescreen should remain closed during use, and optional glass doors must be operated either fully open or fully closed. The fireplace and chimney should be inspected at least annually before the heating season and more frequently when necessary to monitor and remove creosote accumulation.

Disclaimer: Product specifications, dimensions, compatible accessories and installation requirements are subject to change. All framing, hearth protection, clearances, chimney configuration, termination, outside-air routing, finishing and fuel-system details must be verified for the specific installation. Refer to the latest Majestic installation manual and owner’s manual and comply with all local building, fire and mechanical codes. Installation and service should be performed by a qualified fireplace professional.
