Majestic Vesper Herringbone Outdoor Vent-Free Fireplace

The Majestic Vesper Outdoor Vent-Free Firebox with Herringbone Refractory creates a traditional masonry-style focal point for patios, porches and other qualifying outdoor living areas without requiring a chimney or vent system. Available with a 36-inch or 42-inch-wide opening, the Vesper is scaled for spaces where a full-size outdoor fireplace may be too large while still providing an open-hearth view of the flames.

The firebox features stainless steel construction, a brick-to-brick opening and included natural gray concrete refractory panels arranged in a distinctive herringbone pattern. The angled brick design adds depth and texture behind the flames, while the included mesh firescreen helps control access to the open burn area. Approved stainless steel mesh cabinet-style doors are available separately for a more finished appearance.

This product is a vent-free firebox enclosure only. A burner and log set are required and sold separately. The 36-inch model is completed with an approved Lumonessen outdoor manual-ignition burner and a 24-inch Mezmer, Mezmer Split or Mountain Oak log set. The 42-inch model uses the same approved burner with a 30-inch Mezmer, Mezmer Split or Mountain Oak log set.

The natural gas burner operates from approximately 19,000 to 38,000 BTU per hour, while the propane burner operates from approximately 31,000 to 38,000 BTU per hour. The firebox enclosure itself is certified for an outdoor decorative gas appliance rated up to 50,000 BTU per hour, but the installed burner must be specifically listed for the application and must not exceed the firebox or burner manufacturer’s limits.

The Vesper’s vent-free design requires no chimney, flue pipe or exterior termination. It may be incorporated into a built-in wall or configured as a stand-alone architectural feature when all framing, finishing, drainage and clearance requirements are followed. Because vent-free appliances use air from the installation area, adequate combustion and ventilation air must be provided.

The firebox body and metal firebox are covered by the manufacturer’s Limited Lifetime Warranty, subject to the complete warranty terms, installation requirements, exclusions and proof-of-purchase conditions. Refractory panels, gas and electrical components, gaskets, accessories and labor have separate coverage periods and limitations.
