The Majestic WarmMajic II Wood Burning Fireplace with Black Cabinet-Style Doors delivers the appearance of a traditional arched fireplace with the performance of a sealed, high-efficiency wood heater. Designed for customers who want the atmosphere of a real wood fire along with meaningful supplemental heat, the WarmMajic II combines an EPA 2020-certified combustion system, spacious firebox, automatic combustion control and factory-installed convection fans in one complete fireplace package.

The included front features an arched black steel face and black cast-iron cabinet-style doors with 5 mm ceramic glass. The doors provide a clear view of the fire while helping maintain the controlled combustion environment required for efficient operation. The fireplace must be operated with both doors either fully closed or fully open; leaving them partially open can draw smoke and flames toward the room. When operating with the doors open, the approved optional Mesh-HHT-C firescreen must be installed to help control sparks.

Inside, the WarmMajic II provides a 2.75-cubic-foot firebox lined with insulating firebrick and sized for seasoned cordwood up to approximately 22 inches long. The large firebox supports extended heating and may accommodate four to six properly arranged logs when loading for maximum firebox volume. Fires are built directly on the firebrick floor without a grate, and the fireplace is approved for dry, seasoned cordwood with less than 20 percent moisture. Gas logs, unvented log sets, coal, treated wood, construction debris and other unapproved fuels must not be used.

An Automatic Combustion Control system, or ACC, simplifies starting and managing the fire. The control can be engaged during a cold start and then set to the preferred burn position. Once the fire is established, the system automatically transitions to the selected combustion-air setting, reducing the amount of manual adjustment required while promoting efficient fuel use. An accessible ACC override allows the air supply to be reduced immediately if the burn rate must be slowed.

Ceiling firestops are required wherever the chimney passes through a ceiling or floor, and an attic insulation shield must be installed anywhere insulation could contact the chimney. The chimney must remain enclosed from the fireplace to the attic while preserving the required clearances. At the roof, the approved termination must extend at least 3 feet above the roof and at least 2 feet above any portion of the roof or adjacent structure located within 10 feet.

A dedicated outside combustion-air connection is required. The fireplace includes the outside-air assembly, inlet hood and collars, while field-supplied UL181 Class 0 or Class 1 ducting is required. The outside-air connection may be located on either side of the appliance, and the duct run should be kept as short as practical, with a listed maximum of 40 feet. The inlet must terminate in a clear outdoor location or approved ventilated crawl space and must not draw air from an attic, garage, wall cavity or other enclosed area.

The fireplace requires a grounded 115-volt, 60 Hz electrical supply rated at less than 3 amps for the convection fans and controls. Fan wiring and any optional Heat Zone wiring must be completed before the framed enclosure is closed. Electrical work must comply with applicable codes, and GFCI protection is required when the fireplace is installed in a location classified as damp.

Standard equipment includes the firebrick lining, black cabinet-style ceramic-glass doors, black arched front, dual convection fans, fan controls, non-combustible facing board, protective hearth strips, CAK4A chimney-air kit, attic insulation shield and outside-air hood. Site-specific chimney sections, roof flashing, termination cap, hearth-extension materials, outside-air ducting and decorative finish materials must still be selected and installed for the project.

For safe and efficient operation, the chimney should be inspected at least annually before the heating season and approximately every two months during regular seasonal use. Creosote must be removed whenever accumulation is present. The baffle, ceramic blanket, firebrick, door gasket, glass, fans and outside-air system should also be inspected at the intervals specified in the owner’s manual.

Disclaimer: Product specifications, dimensions, heat-output ratings, included components and installation requirements are subject to change. All framing, chimney configuration, air-space clearances, hearth protection, outside-air routing, electrical wiring, mantel placement, roof termination and finishing details must be verified for the specific installation. Always refer to the latest Majestic WarmMajic II installation manual and owner’s manual and comply with all applicable building, fire, electrical and mechanical codes. Installation and service must be performed by a qualified fireplace professional.
