Napoleon Ascent Linear 46-inch Direct Vent Natural Gas Fireplace

The Napoleon Ascent Linear 46-inch Direct Vent Natural Gas Fireplace, Model BL46NTE-1, brings a clean, contemporary fireplace design to modern and transitional interiors. Its wide linear firebox creates an impressive horizontal flame presentation while the streamlined built-in design integrates naturally into custom fireplace walls, entertainment areas and architectural surrounds.

Designed for natural gas, the BL46NTE-1 operates from 17,000 to 24,000 BTU/hr. A manual gas control provides high-to-low flame adjustment, allowing the flame appearance to be tailored to your preference. For added convenience, an optional compatible remote control can provide on/off operation and flame adjustment without requiring access behind the safety barrier.

The fireplace comes standard with Napoleon's Topaz CRYSTALINE ember bed, providing a reflective contemporary foundation beneath the flames. 

The BL46NTE-1 uses electronic ignition and Napoleon's Pilot-on-Demand system. This system offers intermittent pilot ignition (IPI) as well as a continuous pilot ignition (CPI) mode with an integrated seven-day timer. In intermittent mode, the pilot operates when the fireplace is turned on and shuts off with the main burner. Continuous pilot mode can help improve startup performance in colder conditions, while the timer automatically shuts the pilot off after approximately seven days of inactivity to help avoid unnecessary fuel consumption.

A battery backup control system is included with the BL46NTE-1, allowing the fireplace to remain operable during a power outage when the battery backup is properly installed and equipped. The fireplace also includes Easy Access Air Control, non-combustible material, cement board and a stainless steel flex connector as part of Napoleon's installation-focused design.

The BL46NTE-1 is a top-vent direct vent fireplace using a 4-inch exhaust and 7-inch air intake vent system. The appliance measures approximately 46.875 inches wide, 39.0625 inches high and 18.3125 inches deep. Napoleon specifies a minimum framing dimensions of approximately 47.38 inches wide, 39.38 inches high and 19.56 inches deep, with installation details dependent on the specific framing and venting configuration.

The fireplace is also field convertible from natural gas to propane using the appropriate Napoleon certified conversion kit.
