Napoleon Ascent Linear 56-inch Direct Vent Natural Gas Fireplace

The Napoleon Ascent Linear 56-inch Direct Vent Natural Gas Fireplace, Model BL56NTE, delivers a wide, contemporary flame presentation designed to become a dramatic focal point in modern and transitional interiors. Its clean linear proportions and expansive viewing area make it well suited for custom fireplace walls, living rooms, bedrooms and other indoor spaces where a streamlined built-in gas fireplace is desired.

Designed for natural gas, the BL56NTE operates from 18,500 to 28,000 BTU/hr at elevations from 0 to 4,500 feet. A manual gas control allows the flame height to be adjusted from high to low, giving you control over the appearance of the fire. The fireplace uses electronic ignition along with Napoleon's Pilot-on-Demand system, which provides intermittent pilot ignition as well as a continuous pilot mode with an integrated seven-day timer.

The BL56NTE comes standard with Napoleon's Topaz CRYSTALINE ember bed, creating a reflective contemporary base beneath the flames. 

The fireplace uses a top-vent 5-inch exhaust / 8-inch air intake direct vent system. Napoleon allows both horizontal and vertical venting configurations when installed according to the approved venting requirements. The standard vent system allows a maximum horizontal run of up to 20 feet and maximum vertical vent length of up to 40 feet, depending on the complete vent configuration and required rise.

The BL56NTE measures approximately 56 inches wide, 38.81 inches high and 18.31 inches deep. Napoleon specifies a minimum framing dimensions of approximately 56.50 inches wide, 39.38 inches high and 18.56 inches deep. Framing, finishing and venting dimensions must always be verified for the specific installation before construction begins.

The appliance is also field convertible between natural gas and propane when the correct Napoleon certified conversion kit is used.
