The Napoleon Ascent Linear Premium 42-inch Direct Vent Natural Gas Fireplace combines a clean, contemporary linear design with premium controls and flexible finishing options. Designed for indoor built-in installation, this natural gas fireplace features electronic ignition and operates from 14,000 to 20,000 BTU/hr. Its overall dimensions measure approximately 42.0 inches wide x 38.1875 inches high x 18.3125 inches deep, providing a wide flame presentation within a relatively compact installation depth.

A large ceramic glass viewing area provides a clear view of the fire while the included Premium Safety Barrier helps reduce the risk of contact with the hot glass. An integrated blower with six speed settings provides adjustable air circulation, while included top lighting adds illumination to the firebox. Flame height can also be adjusted through six flame levels, allowing the appearance of the fire to be tailored to the setting.

Convenient operation is provided through the ProFlame II control system, included remote control, and Napoleon's eFIRE Controller. Bluetooth-enabled eFIRE functionality allows compatible fireplace functions to be controlled from a mobile device, while the handheld remote provides direct adjustment of flame height, blower speed, lighting, and pilot settings. An included battery backup control system maintains on/off and flame-height functionality during a power outage. 

The Ascent Linear Premium is a direct vent decorative gas fireplace certified for indoor residential installations, including approved bedroom, bathroom, bed-sitting room, and mobile/manufactured home applications when installed in accordance with applicable requirements.
