The Napoleon Built-In 500 Series 32-Inch Stainless Steel Gas Grill provides the essential performance and durability needed to create a versatile custom outdoor kitchen. Available for Natural Gas or Propane, this built-in grill uses four burners producing 48,000 total BTUs and offers 785 square inches of total cooking area. 

The cooking surface features durable 7.5 mm stainless steel Iconic WAVE™ cooking grids. Napoleon's distinctive curved grid design helps provide consistent heat distribution, improved durability and excellent heat retention while helping prevent smaller foods from falling between the grids. The stainless steel construction is corrosion resistant and requires less maintenance than traditional cast iron cooking surfaces while producing Napoleon's recognizable sear marks.

Beneath the cooking grids, dual-level stainless steel sear plates help distribute heat across the grill while shielding the burners from drippings. As juices and drippings contact the heated sear plates, they vaporize to add grilled flavor while the layered design helps reduce direct flare-ups and promotes more consistent cooking temperatures across the grilling surface.

The grill's four independently controlled burners provide the flexibility to create multiple heat zones for different cooking techniques. Use direct heat for burgers, steaks, chicken and vegetables, or turn off one or more burners to establish an indirect cooking zone for larger foods that benefit from slower, more even heat. Napoleon recommends preheating the grill with the main burners on high before searing.

The grill also incorporates an upper warming rack to expand usable cooking and holding space. It can be used to keep finished foods warm, toast buns or position foods away from the more intense heat of the primary cooking grids while the main surface remains available for grilling.

Napoleon specifies a standard installation opening of approximately 30 to 32 inches wide, 19.4 to 19.75 inches deep and 10.25 inches high. The grill requires a non-combustible countertop, and the cabinet frame and cabinet must also be constructed from non-combustible materials unless the grill is installed using the corresponding Napoleon zero-clearance liner. Napoleon also specifies that lid openings require a minimum of 5 inches of clearance behind the grill.
