Napoleon Built-In 700 Series Single Infrared Burner with Stainless Steel Cover

The Napoleon Built-In 700 Series 10-inch Single Infrared Burner adds a dedicated high-heat cooking station to a custom outdoor kitchen without taking up valuable space on the main grill. This compact built-in burner delivers 10,000 BTUs of infrared cooking power for fast searing and versatile outdoor cooking.

At the center of this burner is the Infrared SIZZLE ZONE, capable of producing temperatures up to 1,800°F. The intense infrared heat is ideal for quickly searing steaks, chops and other meats, creating a caramelized exterior while helping retain moisture inside. Because the infrared burner is separate from the main grill, steaks can be seared over extremely high heat while other foods continue cooking at lower temperatures on the grill.

A heavy-duty 7.5 mm stainless steel WAVE cooking grid provides a durable, low-maintenance cooking surface while producing distinctive sear marks. The 9 x 10.5-inch cooking area provides approximately 93 square inches of cooking space, making this compact burner a practical choice for searing several portions at a time or preparing sides and sauces while the main grill is occupied.

The JETFIRE instant ignition system makes startup quick and convenient, while the ergonomic backlit control knob improves visibility during evening cooking. The control illuminates blue when the lighting system is on and changes to red when the burner is operating, providing a clear visual reminder that the burner is in use.

Constructed from premium stainless steel, the burner is designed to blend cleanly into a built-in outdoor kitchen. Seamless trim around the perimeter provides a finished appearance at the countertop, while the included stainless steel protective cover keeps the cooking area covered when the burner is cool and not being used.

The complete burner measures approximately 13.50 inches wide x 22 inches deep x 6.90 inches high. The specified countertop opening for the BIB10IR is 10 to 12 inches wide x 18.75 to 20.75 inches deep x 6 inches high. The attached installation documentation does not list a zero-clearance liner for the BIB10IR, so cabinet construction, countertop materials and required clearances should be planned according to the current installation instructions.

Installation Clearances: Maintain a minimum clearance of 17 inches to combustible materials at the rear and 9 inches at the sides. A minimum distance of 17 inches between additional appliances is also specified. Proper ventilation around the burner and outdoor kitchen enclosure must be maintained.

Important Power Requirement: When the burner is installed without a Built-In 700 Series grill, Power Supply Kit N370-1091-SER is required to provide power for the backlit control knob. When connecting the burner to a Built-In 700 Series grill located more than 3 feet away, the appropriate extension wiring may also be required.
