Napoleon Element 36-inch Built-In Electric Fireplace

Bring the look of a traditional hearth into the home with the Napoleon Element 36-Inch Built-In Electric Fireplace. Its realistic oak-style log set, vivid flame effect, and decorative brick side panels create a warm, familiar fireplace appearance without the need for gas, wood, or venting.

The Element’s self-trimming design includes a finished surrounding frame, helping create a clean built-in appearance without requiring a separate trim kit for standard installations. It can be recessed into a framed wall or installed within a suitable fireplace or mantel opening, making it a practical option for new construction and remodeling projects.

Adjustable flame brightness and five flame-speed settings make it easy to change the character of the fire display. The ember bed includes multiple brightness levels and a pulsing fade effect, while overhead multicolor LED accent lighting provides seven color and color-combination settings for additional atmosphere.

The dual-voltage heater provides up to 5,000 BTUs and 1,500 watts on 120 volts. When professionally hardwired for 240-volt operation, output increases to as much as 10,000 BTUs and 3,000 watts. The flame and lighting effects operate independently from the heater, allowing the fireplace to be enjoyed throughout the year.

Fireplace functions can be adjusted from the LED control panel or the included multifunction remote control. Available controls include power, thermostat temperature, heat, blower-only operation, flame brightness, flame speed, top-light color, ember-bed brightness, and an automatic timer adjustable from 30 minutes to eight hours. A heater lockout can disable the heat function for added safety.

The Element 36 is factory wired for standard 120-volt plug-in operation and may also be hardwired. Operation at 240 volts requires hardwiring by a qualified electrician. The fireplace must be connected to a dedicated 15-amp grounded circuit, and extension cords or power strips must not be used.

The fireplace measures 36 1/8 inches wide by 31 7/8 inches high by 11 1/4 inches deep. Minimum framing dimensions are 35 1/2 inches wide by 31 1/4 inches high by 11 inches deep. The viewing area measures approximately 33 7/8 inches wide by 25 7/8 inches high.
