Napoleon Elevation Electric 36-inch Built-In Electric Fireplace

Bring the depth and movement of a traditional fire into the home with the Napoleon Elevation Electric 36-Inch Built-In Electric Fireplace. Its deep firebox, tinted front glass, and triple-layer flame technology create a realistic display with flames that appear to grow from front to back and from the sides toward the center.

The included premium glowing split oak logs add natural detail and warmth to the firebox. Choose orange, yellow, or combined flame colors, then adjust the brightness, speed, and number of visible flame layers to create anything from a soft background glow to a fuller, more active fire presentation.

A modulating ember bed provides five natural color options with four brightness levels, automatic color cycling, and a pulsing effect. Thirteen top-light colors add another layer of ambient illumination, while the tinted glass helps maintain flame contrast and visibility in brighter rooms.

Fireplace functions can be managed with the included premium remote control, the built-in control panel, or the Wi-Fi-enabled Napoleon Home app. Smart-home compatibility supports Google Home and Alexa voice controls, while seven-day scheduling, favorite settings, thermostat adjustments, and additional lighting customization provide convenient everyday operation. An optional wall-mounted controller is available separately.

The dual-voltage heater delivers up to 5,000 BTUs on 120 volts or up to 10,000 BTUs on 240 volts. ECO mode operates at half heat to reduce energy use, while BOOST mode provides maximum heat with increased blower speed. Additional comfort features include blower-only operation, thermostat settings from 64°F to 82°F, heater lockout, open-window detection, and flame operation without heat for year-round enjoyment.

The Elevation Electric is designed for fully recessed built-in installation and requires no venting. It uses the same rough framing dimensions as Napoleon Elevation and Elevation X gas fireplaces, allowing the opening to be framed before making a final decision between gas and electric.

The appliance measures approximately 38 13/16 inches wide by 35 5/16 inches high by 16 inches deep. A one-piece black finishing trim is included and measures 40 3/8 inches wide by 36 3/8 inches high. Minimum framing dimensions are 39 3/4 inches wide by 35 9/16 inches high by 16 1/4 inches deep.

The fireplace supports 120- or 240-volt operation and requires a dedicated 15-amp grounded circuit. Plug-in or hardwired installation options are available depending on the electrical configuration, with hardwired connections completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable codes. The Napoleon Elevation Electric NEFB36H-MF is intended for indoor use and is backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
