Napoleon Elevation X 42-inch Direct Vent Gas Fireplace

The Napoleon Elevation X 42-Inch Direct Vent Gas Fireplace combines a deep traditional firebox with a clean-face design and expansive viewing area for a realistic, customizable fire presentation. With up to 45,000 BTU/hr of input on natural gas, the EX42 pairs substantial flame presence with premium lighting, controls, and decorative options.

At the center of the design is Napoleon's modulating ENDLESS EMBERS electric ember bed, which adds the natural glow and flicker of a wood fire beneath the logs. Integrated top accent lighting further illuminates the firebox, while the full-view ceramic glass keeps the flames and media in focus. A premium safety screen is included.

The Elevation X EX42 offers extensive customization. A high-definition log kit is required, and one decorative panel option must also be selected. Optional Zen and Whitney decorative fronts and coordinating finishing trims provide additional ways to personalize the exterior.

Operation is designed for convenience with an included ProFlame II control system, eFIRE Controller, and remote control. Fireplace functions include flame adjustment, split-flow modulation between full and reduced flame configurations, ember bed control, and blower operation. The included heat-circulating blower features variable-speed and thermostatic control, while the eFIRE system provides compatible mobile-device control for functions including power, flame height, blower speed, and ember bed.

The EX42 is offered for both natural gas and propane. The natural gas configuration is rated for up to 45,000 BTU/hr, while the propane configuration is rated for up to 39,000 BTU/hr. Certified conversion kits are available when an approved field conversion between natural gas and propane is required.

The fireplace measures approximately 44 3/4 inches wide x 48 inches high x 22 inches deep with a 42-inch-wide fireplace opening.
