Experience an immersive fireplace display with the Napoleon Elevation X Electric 36-Inch Built-In Electric Fireplace. Its high-definition LCD rear panel plays realistic gas and wood flame videos, while multi-layer flame technology adds depth and movement from the front of the firebox to the back.

Select a traditional wood-fire presentation or a contemporary gas-flame appearance to match the room. The wood display pairs the flames with a Westminster herringbone-style background, while the gas display uses a MIRRO-FLAME reflective appearance. The flame system offers orange, yellow, and combined flame colors, adjustable brightness, and one-, two-, or three-layer configurations.

Built-in speakers reproduce the crackling and popping sounds of a real fire, helping the visual effects feel more natural. The glowing Split Oak logs and modulating ember bed complete the display, while the Napoleon Home app provides volume adjustment and additional flame customization.

The included hand-painted glowing Split Oak log set creates a detailed wood-fire presentation. Five natural ember-bed colors, adjustable brightness, a pulsing effect, and 13 top-light colors make it easy to change the fireplace from a warm traditional look to a more colorful ambient display. The logs and accent lighting can also be enjoyed without the flame or heater.

Operate the fireplace from the built-in control panel, the included premium remote control, or the Wi-Fi-enabled Napoleon Home app. Compatible Google Home and Alexa devices provide voice-control options, while the app offers favorite settings, advanced color selections, volume control, notifications, and seven-day scheduling. An optional wall-mounted controller is available separately.

The dual-voltage heater produces up to 5,000 BTUs on 120 volts or up to 10,000 BTUs on 240 volts. ECO mode runs the heater at half power to reduce energy consumption, while BOOST mode provides full heat with increased blower speed. Additional comfort features include blower-only operation, an adjustable thermostat from 64°F to 82°F, heater lockout, open-window detection, and year-round flame operation without heat.

The Elevation X Electric is designed for fully recessed built-in installation and requires no chimney, venting, or gas line. Its rough-framing dimensions match Napoleon Elevation gas fireplaces, allowing the opening to be prepared before making the final choice between gas and electric. A frameless finishing flange is included for a clean appearance, while an optional adjustable one-piece trim accommodates different finishing-material thicknesses.

The fireplace can operate from a dedicated 120-volt plug-in connection or be hardwired for 120- or 240-volt service. A dedicated 15-amp grounded circuit is required, and 240-volt operation must be hardwired by a qualified electrician. Extension cords and power strips must not be used.
