Create an immersive traditional fireplace experience with the Napoleon Elevation X Electric 42-Inch Built-In Electric Fireplace. A high-definition LCD rear panel displays realistic gas and wood fire videos, while multi-layer flame technology adds depth in front of the screen for a more convincing three-dimensional fire effect.

Select a traditional wood-fire scene with a Westminster herringbone-style background or a contemporary gas-flame scene with a MIRRO-FLAME reflective-panel appearance. A logs-only mode provides subtle glowing ambiance without visible flames. Built-in speakers add synchronized crackling and popping fire sounds to make the experience feel even more natural.

The included hand-painted glowing Split Oak log set adds realistic wood detail throughout the deep firebox. Orange, yellow, and combined flame tones can be paired with adjustable brightness and one, two, or three visible flame layers. The ember bed offers five natural colors, four brightness levels, automatic color cycling, and a pulsing effect, while 13 top-light colors provide additional ambient lighting.

Operate the fireplace from the built-in control panel, the included premium remote control, or the Wi-Fi-enabled Napoleon Home app. The app provides expanded color customization, favorite settings, notifications, sound adjustment, and seven-day scheduling. Compatible Google Home and Alexa devices offer voice-control options, and an optional wall-mounted controller is available separately.

The dual-voltage heater delivers up to 5,000 BTUs on 120 volts or up to 10,000 BTUs on 240 volts. ECO mode operates at half heat to reduce energy use, while BOOST mode provides maximum heat with increased blower speed for 30 minutes. Additional comfort features include blower-only operation, thermostat settings from 64°F to 82°F, heater lockout, open-window detection, and flame operation without heat for year-round enjoyment.

The Elevation X Electric is designed for fully recessed built-in installation and requires no chimney, venting, or gas line. Its rough-framing dimensions coordinate with Napoleon Elevation gas fireplaces, allowing the opening to be prepared before making a final decision between gas and electric. A frameless finishing flange is included for a clean installation, while an optional one-piece trim can provide additional coverage around the finished opening.

The fireplace is ready for a standard 120-volt plug-in connection or may be hardwired for 120-volt operation. A 240-volt connection must be hardwired by a qualified electrician. All configurations require a dedicated 15-amp grounded circuit, and extension cords or power strips must not be used.
