The Napoleon Galaxy 50-inch Electronic Ignition Outdoor Natural Gas Fireplace, creates a wide, contemporary flame presentation for properly ventilated patios and outdoor living areas. Its 50,000 BTU natural gas burner, reliable electronic ignition, and expansive 20-inch-high viewing area provide a clear view of the flames through a clean linear opening.

Built around a durable 304 stainless-steel firebox, the Galaxy is designed for outdoor installation. An included glass wind guard helps protect the flame from wind while improving its overall appearance. Clear glass embers provide a modern media base, while the included finishing flange creates a clean, full-view appearance around the fireplace opening.

Integrated multi-color LED ember-bed and wind-guard lighting adds another layer of ambiance before, during, or after operating the burner. Seven available lighting colors include red, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, purple, and white, making it easy to coordinate the fireplace with the setting or occasion.

An included wall-mounted control switch provides convenient operation of both the fireplace and lighting. The control uses separate switches for the burner and lights and is supplied with a 20-foot wire for installation flexibility. The electronic ignition automatically lights the pilot, eliminating the need to manually light the fireplace.

This fireplace must be hardwired to a 120V electrical supply and properly grounded according to applicable electrical codes. Electrical work should be completed by a qualified electrician. The 120V supply must not be connected directly to the gas valve or wall switch because incorrect wiring can damage the controls. Electrical power operates the electronic ignition, control system, and integrated LED lighting.

This appliance is certified for outdoor use only and must never be installed inside the warm-air envelope of a structure. A sheltered outdoor location is recommended to reduce wind-related flame disruption.
