Upgrade an existing masonry fireplace with the spacious flame presentation and flexible styling of the Napoleon Oakville X4 Direct Vent Natural Gas Insert. Designed as the largest model in the Oakville insert family, the X4 combines a clean-face design, substantial heating performance, included premium features, and a wide selection of finishing options for a fireplace renovation that feels fully integrated into the room.

The Oakville X4 features a dual-burner system with a heat output ranging from approximately 16,000 to 40,000 BTUs. Napoleon's “H” style burner helps create a broad flame display throughout the firebox, while the split-flow function provides control over the second burner for greater flexibility in the appearance and heat of the fire. A realistic Split Oak log set is included, creating a traditional wood-fire presentation without the maintenance of a wood-burning fireplace.

A generous 518 sq. in. full-view viewing area and heat-radiating ceramic glass provide an expansive view of the fire. Integrated top lighting adds another layer of illumination to the firebox, while the included heat-circulating blower helps move warmth into the room. Blower speed and flame height can be adjusted from the included Proflame II remote control for convenient comfort management from across the room.

The Oakville X4 is also built around customization. A decorative panel selection is required, with choices including MIRRO-FLAME heat-radiating reflective black porcelain, Newport Standard Brick, Old Town Red Standard Brick, and Westminster Standard Brick. Optional Birch and Driftwood log kits, and 3-sided and 4-sided backerplates.
