The Napoleon Vector 38-inch See-Thru Direct Vent Natural Gas Fireplace creates a contemporary linear focal point that can be enjoyed from two adjoining spaces. Its see-through firebox provides a clear view of the flame presentation from both sides, making it well suited for dividing walls, open-concept spaces, and installations where a single fireplace is intended to connect two areas. The natural gas burner operates from 21,000 to 30,000 BTUs and features electronic ignition with adjustable flame output.

A tube-style burner with flame and heat adjustment stretches the fire across the linear firebox, while included MIRRO-FLAME porcelain reflective radiant panels enhance the depth and movement of the flames. Heat-radiating ceramic glass provides the viewing surface, and Napoleon's included black premium safety barriers help reduce the risk of contact with the hot glass.

Control is provided through Napoleon's ProFlame II system, eFIRE Bluetooth controller, and included remote control. The remote provides six flame-height settings along with control of compatible lighting functions, while the eFIRE mobile application provides convenient Bluetooth control of functions such as on/off operation, flame height, lighting, and scheduling. The electronic ignition system includes both Intermittent Pilot Ignition (IPI) and Continuous Pilot Ignition (CPI), with a seven-day timer designed to reduce unnecessary pilot operation when the fireplace is not being used.

A battery backup control system allows essential fireplace functions to remain available during a household power interruption. The fireplace also includes a stainless steel flex connector, easy-access air control, firestop, and vent shield as part of its standard equipment.

Because this is a see-through Vector fireplace, there is firebox glass on both sides. One side serves as the access side and is identified by the pilot location, while the opposite glass door is fixed and is intended to remain sealed during normal owner maintenance. This configuration creates an uninterrupted view through the fireplace while maintaining the sealed direct vent combustion system.

The Vector uses a top 5-inch exhaust / 8-inch air intake direct vent system. Current Napoleon literature lists overall dimensions of approximately 53.3125 inches wide × 39.75 inches high × 20 inches deep. The published viewing area is approximately 40.75 inches wide × 18.625 inches high. For a standard see-through installation, minimum rough framing is approximately 53.8125 inches wide × 16.1875 inches deep, with a minimum enclosure height of approximately 73 inches. Actual framing and enclosure requirements can change depending on venting, finishing, and heat-management configuration.
