Real Fyre G46 Vented Burner

The Real Fyre G46 Advanced Glowing Ember Vented Burner is designed to deliver a lively, realistic flame while using less gas than many traditional vented burner systems. Its H-burner design enhances the ember bed, while the controls are tucked into the burner assembly for a cleaner, more compact fireplace installation.

Available in 18/20-inch, 24-inch, and 30-inch sizes, the burner is offered for either natural gas or propane. Maximum input is 40,000 BTUs for 18/20-inch models, 55,000 BTUs for 24-inch models, and 65,000 BTUs for 30-inch models for both natural gas and propane configurations.

The G46 comes as an ANSI-certified burner system, with the burner and control valve factory-assembled and certified together. This certification means the burner system has been evaluated to established safety and performance requirements covering this type of gas appliance. ANSI certification provides added assurance that the burner has been tested as a complete system when installed and operated according to Real Fyre requirements, while also supporting applicable building-code and installation approvals.

The burner is compatible with most Real Fyre vented gas log styles and is available with several Real Fyre control configurations, including a manual valve, -02 electronic ON/OFF remote-ready control, -11 ON/OFF remote-ready control, -15 variable remote-ready control, and -17 variable remote-ready control. Control availability should be matched to the specific Real Fyre burner configuration being ordered.

G46 vs. G45: The G45 is a traditional Triple T burner designed to create a broad ember bed and is available in a much wider range of sizes, from 16/19 inches through 60 inches. The G46 is a more compact, self-contained burner with hidden controls that uses lower BTU inputs while still producing an active flame, making it especially well suited for installations where a cleaner control layout and smaller footprint are preferred.

This burner is designed for installation in a properly vented, wood-burning fireplace with a working chimney. The chimney damper must remain fully open during operation, and installation should be completed by a qualified professional.
