Real Fyre Low Profile Standard Pilot Kit with Basic On/Off Remote with Variable Flame

The Real Fyre low-profile automatic safety pilot kit provides dependable standing-pilot operation with convenient remote ON/OFF and variable flame-height control. The included VR-1A remote and receiver let you turn the burner on or off and raise or lower the flame from across the room, making it a practical replacement for a worn or unreliable safety control system.

The system uses the Real Fyre SV-37 control valve and includes a standing pilot, pilot assembly, valve heat shield, control knob with extension, remote receiver, transmitter, batteries, and required control components. The heat shield is an important part of the installation and helps protect the valve from excessive fireplace heat.

Designed for select Real Fyre G4, G45 standard, G45 see-thru, and P-Series burners. Natural gas applications support up to 100,000 BTUs, including Real Fyre G4 and G45 standard burners from 12 to 42 inches and Real Fyre G45 see-thru burners from 16 to 30 inches. Propane applications support up to 200,000 BTUs, including Real Fyre G4 and G45 standard burners from 12 to 60 inches and Real Fyre G45 see-thru burners from 16 to 60 inches.

The pilot system can be configured for natural gas or propane using the appropriate pilot orifice. Burner series, size, and fuel type should be verified before ordering.

APK-17 vs. APK-15: Both provide standing-pilot operation with variable remote flame control, but the APK-17 uses a lower-profile valve design, supports higher BTU capacities, and is field-convertible between natural gas and propane. The APK-15 has lower BTU limits and must be ordered specifically for natural gas or propane.

Warranty: The Real Fyre APK-17 control system, including the -17 valve, is covered by a two-year limited manufacturer warranty for the original purchaser. Batteries are excluded from warranty coverage.
