Real Fyre Standard Pilot Kit with On/Off Remote with Variable Flame

The Real Fyre automatic safety pilot kit with variable flame remote provides dependable standing-pilot operation with convenient control over burner operation, flame height, and heat output. The included VR-1A transmitter and receiver allow you to turn the burner on or off and adjust the flame from across the room.

The system can also be operated manually at the Real Fyre safety control valve, allowing the flame height to be increased or decreased even without the remote. A standing pilot and thermocouple-based safety system help shut off gas flow if the pilot flame is lost.

The kit includes the safety pilot valve, pilot assembly, valve heat shield, flame diverter bracket, decorative wood chip, and VR-1A remote system. The heat shield helps protect the valve from excessive fireplace temperatures, while the decorative wood chip helps conceal the control assembly for a cleaner installation.

Designed for select Real Fyre G4, G45 standard, G45 see-thru, and P-Series burners. Natural gas applications are rated up to 85,000 BTUs, with Real Fyre G4 and G45 standard burner compatibility from 12 to 30 inches and G45 see-thru compatibility from 16 to 18 inches. Propane applications are rated up to 135,000 BTUs, with Real Fyre G4 and G45 standard burners from 12 to 42 inches and G45 see-thru burners from 16 to 36 inches.

Natural gas and propane versions are gas-specific and are not field convertible. Select APK-15 for natural gas or APK-15P for propane and verify the Real Fyre burner model, size, and fuel type before ordering.

APK-15 vs. APK-17: Both provide standing-pilot safety and variable remote flame control. The APK-17 uses a lower-profile valve design, supports higher BTU capacities, and can be field-converted for natural gas or propane. The APK-15 is a larger, gas-specific system with lower maximum BTU ratings.

Warranty: Real Fyre APK-15 valves, pilots, and controls are covered by a one-year limited manufacturer warranty for the original purchaser. Batteries are excluded from warranty coverage.
