SimpliFire 30-inch Built-In Electric Fireplace

Bring the traditional appearance of a masonry fireplace together with the convenience of electric heat with the SimpliFire 30-inch Built-In Electric Fireplace. Designed for a clean, integrated installation, the SF-BI30-EB features a flush built-in design that allows finishing materials to come directly to the edge of the fireplace for a finished look without visible heat vents or a mesh screen. A masonry-style interior, realistic log and grate assembly, glowing ember bed, and adjustable flame effects create the inviting appearance of a traditional fire without the need for gas, venting, or wood.

The SF-BI30-EB offers four flame effects along with a lighted ember bed so the fireplace can provide ambiance throughout the year, with or without heat. A convenient multifunction remote control provides access to power, flame settings, heat, thermostat adjustment, and timer functions. The thermostat can be adjusted from 61°F to 82°F, while the timer can be set from 30 minutes up to 9 hours.

For flexible heating performance, this built-in electric fireplace can operate on 120V or 240V power. At 120V, the fireplace operates at 1,400 watts and provides approximately 5,000 BTUs. A 240V hardwired installation increases output to 2,800 watts and approximately 10,000 BTUs. Both configurations require a 15-amp circuit. The fireplace can be hardwired for either voltage, while 120V installations may also use the supplied plug-in power cord assembly.

The zero-clearance design provides installation flexibility for new construction or installation into a suitable existing fireplace. The unit measures approximately 31 inches wide x 26-3/4 inches high x 11 inches deep with a 28-1/4-inch x 22-3/4-inch viewing area. Framing requirements are approximately 31-3/4 inches wide x 11-5/8 inches deep, with a framing height of 27-1/4 inches for 120V installations or 29-1/4 inches for 240V installations. When hardwired for 240V, a 2-inch clearance is required above the unit.
