SimpliFire 32-inch Electric Fireplace Insert

The SimpliFire 32-inch Electric Fireplace Insert offers a straightforward way to convert an existing wood-burning fireplace or framed wall opening into a clean, convenient electric fire feature. Model GI-32-ZC is designed for installation in an existing fireplace opening or as a built-in unit in new construction, giving you the traditional focal point of a fireplace without gas lines, venting, or wood-burning maintenance. A decorative front is included, while optional surround kits can help cover gaps around larger existing fireplace openings.

The GI-32-ZC combines a traditional fire presentation with customizable lighting. The included remote provides access to multiple flame effects, adjustable ember-bed lighting, accent lighting, and heater operation. The owner's manual's remote-control table specifies 4 flame effects, along with ember-light brightness adjustment and an accent light that can be switched on or off. These lighting features can be enjoyed independently from the heater for year-round ambiance.

For supplemental comfort, the fireplace provides up to 5,000 BTUs of heat with low, high, and no-heat operation. A built-in 9-step thermostat allows room-temperature response to be adjusted directly from the appliance. The included multifunction remote controls power, flame effects, ember lighting, accent lighting, and heater operation from up to approximately 13 feet away.

The GI-32-ZC operates on 120V, 1,500 watts, and 12.5 amps and is designed for plug-in installation on a properly grounded 15-amp, 120V/60Hz circuit. The fireplace provides a generous 27-3/8-inch wide x 16-inch high viewing area. The decorative front measures approximately 31-7/16 inches wide x 20-9/16 inches high, while the appliance body is approximately 28-1/8 inches wide x 19 inches high with a maximum depth of 8-3/4 inches.

For installation into an existing fireplace, the opening should provide at least 29-1/8 inches of front width, 24 inches of rear width, 19-3/4 inches of height, and 8-3/4 inches of depth. Built-in installations use specified framing dimensions of approximately 29-3/8 inches wide x 19-3/4 inches high x 8-3/4 inches deep. Optional small and large surrounds are available in three-sided or four-sided configurations to help create a finished appearance around the insert.
