SimpliFire 36-inch Built-In Electric Fireplace

Bring the traditional look of a masonry fireplace into your home with the SimpliFire 36-inch Built-In Electric Fireplace. The SF-BI36-EB combines a classic fireplace appearance with the convenience and flexibility of electric operation. Its masonry-style interior, textured log set, glowing ember bed, and realistic flame presentation create an inviting focal point without the need for gas lines or venting. The built-in, flush design allows finishing materials to come up to the fireplace edge for a clean installation without visible heat vents or a mesh screen.

Customize the appearance of the fire with four flame effects and a lighted ember bed. The included multifunction remote control provides convenient access to power, flame settings, heater operation, thermostat adjustment, and timer functions. The thermostat can be adjusted from 61°F to 82°F, while the timer can be set from 30 minutes up to 9 hours. The flame effects can also be enjoyed without heat, making the fireplace an attractive source of ambiance throughout the year.

The SF-BI36-EB offers flexible 120V or 240V installation. On 120V power, the fireplace operates at 1,400 watts and provides approximately 5,000 BTUs of supplemental heat. A 240V hardwired installation increases performance to 2,800 watts and approximately 10,000 BTUs. Both configurations require a 15-amp, 60 Hz circuit. The fireplace may be hardwired for 120V or 240V operation, while a plug-in power cord assembly is included for compatible 120V installations.

Designed for new construction or installation into a suitable existing fireplace, the zero-clearance design provides added flexibility when planning the installation. The fireplace measures approximately 37 inches wide, 31-7/32 inches high, and 11 inches deep, with a generous 34-1/4-inch x 27-1/4-inch viewing area. Framing dimensions are approximately 37-3/4 inches wide x 11-5/8 inches deep, with a framing height of 31-1/2 inches for 120V installations or 33-1/2 inches for 240V installations. When installed at 240V, a 2-inch clearance is required above the firebox.
