SimpliFire 55-inch Forum Outdoor Electric Fireplace

The SimpliFire 55-inch Forum Outdoor Electric Fireplace brings a wide, contemporary fire presentation to patios, porches, decks, and other indoor or outdoor living spaces without the need for gas lines, propane tanks, or wood. Model SF-OD55 is a heat-free outdoor electric fireplace designed specifically for ambiance, making it an excellent choice for warm-weather entertaining areas where supplemental heat is not needed. The Forum can be installed as a seamless built-in fireplace or recessed with its included self-trimming decorative front.

Personalize the fire display with 4 flame effects, 13 fuel-bed colors, a rotating color mode, and 4 brightness settings. The brightness control simultaneously adjusts the flame, accent lighting, and fuel-bed lighting, allowing you to create anything from a subtle evening glow to a brighter focal point. The SF-OD55 includes small clear crystal media, large clear crystals, black glass embers, and a 14-piece log set, giving you the flexibility to create a contemporary crystal presentation, a natural log arrangement, or a customized combination of both.

The Forum is built for outdoor entertaining with coated components, corrosion-resistant materials, and UV-resistant logs. Its heater-free design allows the fireplace to provide visual ambiance throughout the year without adding unwanted warmth.

The SF-OD55 operates on 120V AC, 60Hz, 0.5 amps, and 36 watts. It comes equipped with a GFCI-protected power cord for plug-in installation and may also be hardwired. A minimum 15-amp, 120V/60Hz circuit is required, and hardwired outdoor installations require a GFCI-protected circuit.

The fireplace measures approximately 58 inches wide x 18-1/8 inches high x 8-1/4 inches deep and features an expansive 55-1/2-inch wide x 15-7/16-inch high glass viewing area. Recommended framing dimensions are approximately 58-1/4 inches wide x 18-1/2 inches high x 9 inches deep. The Forum allows zero-inch clearance at the sides, floor, top, back, front, and mantel, with unlimited mantel depth when installed according to the manufacturer's requirements.

Installation options include a built-in frameless configuration, where finishing materials can overlap the appliance, or a recessed installation with the self-trimming front. This flexibility makes the 55-inch Forum suitable for custom outdoor feature walls finished in materials such as stone or tile.
