SimpliFire 55-inch Scion Linear Electric Fireplace

The SimpliFire 55-inch Scion Linear Electric Fireplace (Refreshed) delivers a wide, modern fire presentation with a clean built-in appearance and an expansive 16-inch-tall viewing area. Model SF-SCN55 is designed for installation directly into framed construction and can be finished with the included front trim or without the trim for a streamlined, frameless built-in look. Its slim 7-1/2-inch appliance depth makes it possible to create a substantial 55-inch fireplace feature without requiring an excessively deep wall cavity.

Create a customized fireside atmosphere with 9 flame colors, 13 ember bed colors, an active ember bed, and adjustable brightness. Warm or cool downlighting adds another dimension to the display, while two authentic fire sound effects can be selected and adjusted for volume or turned off completely. The SF-SCN55 includes small and large clear crystal media, black glass embers, and a 14-piece log set, allowing the ember bed to be arranged to suit your preferred contemporary or more natural appearance. Optional decorative spheres and ShadowGlo™ log sets provide additional ways to personalize the fireplace.

Convenient controls make it easy to adjust the Scion from across the room or remotely. The included radio-frequency multifunction remote controls flame color, brightness, heat, thermostat, ember bed, active ember bed, downlighting, sound, timer, and preset functions. Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity also allows the fireplace to connect with the Smart Life app for wireless control of supported settings. Compatible Amazon Alexa and Google Home voice control provides another convenient way to operate many fireplace functions.

The SF-SCN55 can be enjoyed with or without heat for year-round ambiance. Its dual-voltage 120V/240V design provides approximately 5,000 BTUs at 120V or 10,000 BTUs at 240V. Low, high, and no-heat modes are available along with thermostat operation. The fireplace is designed for hardwired installation and requires a 15-amp circuit when connected to 120V or a 20-amp circuit for 240V operation.

The fireplace measures approximately 56-1/4 inches wide x 24-1/16 inches high x 7-1/2 inches deep with an impressive 53-3/8-inch wide x 16-3/8-inch high viewing area. Recommended framing dimensions are 57 inches wide x 24-1/4 inches high x 7-5/8 inches deep. The Scion allows zero-inch clearance at the sides, floor, top, and back, with a minimum 36-inch front clearance and a minimum 5/8-inch mantel clearance.
