SimpliFire Optional Drain Pan for 55-inch Forum Outdoor Electric Fireplace

Help manage moisture around your outdoor fireplace installation with the SimpliFire Optional Drain Pan. Model SF-OD55-DP is designed specifically for the 55-inch SimpliFire Forum Outdoor Electric Fireplace (SF-OD55) and provides a factory-designed drainage solution for installations where additional moisture management is needed beneath the fireplace.

The SF-OD55-DP Drain Pan measures approximately 58-1/4 inches wide x 9 inches deep and installs beneath the fireplace inside the enclosure. The pan is positioned with its drain lip toward the front of the enclosure so collected water can move away from the appliance.

The Forum Outdoor Electric Fireplace is designed to handle outdoor conditions and shed moderate amounts of moisture through drainage openings in the appliance base, but the fireplace itself is not waterproof. Proper enclosure design, flashing, drainage paths, and keeping weep holes or drainage slots clear are important parts of a successful outdoor installation. The optional drain pan can help provide a controlled path for water to exit the fireplace enclosure.
